The RTC is a community service organisation, located at 45 Lyons Street, Newstead.  This was the former Newstead Shire Office building,and has been made available to our community (by Mount Alexander Shire Council) on a "peppercorn", long-term lease.

From this site, the following services/facilities are available, in a user-friendly environment:

• a Playgroup
• An internet cafe
• Wireless internet hotspot
• a laundromat
• a Centrelink Access Point (send all your forms and make phone calls)
• a Medicare EasyClaim facility
• an art gallery
• photocopying, printing and laminating
• an Op Shop
• meeting rooms
• booking services for Newstead Community Centre and the Racecourse
• an ironing service
