There has been much activity at the Newstead Racecourse and Recreation Reserve over the past
couple of months . We were very happy to host campers aver the Newstead Live weekend and we
hope they enjoyed their stay in the picturesque surroundings at the reserve. The rebuilding of our bar area has commenced and should be completed over the next month or so with many community members working hard to get this completed. Working Bees have been continuing on a monthly basis to help improve the appearance and facilities of our reserve so if you can spare some time to help out please contact a committee member for details.

Please keep the Newstead Racecourse and Recreation Reserve in mind for your next event, kids parties, family get together or community event. With kitchen, bar, wood fire stove to keep you and your guests warm, toilet and shower facilities, camping area and plenty of space what more could you ask. Bookings can now be made at the Newstead RTC and hire fees are very reasonable at $10-00 per hour with a cap of $50-00 for 5 hours or more. We have a couple of vacant positions on our committee and would like to invite any interested community members to join us. Our meetings are usually held on the 1st Monday of the month at 7.30pm at the Railway Hotel Newstead.
