The season finished off with a very wet stormy weekend and I think we have all felt a bit cheated that we didn't have a nice hot weekend.  We looked at extending the following week but it was also quite cold, while the next week we had a hot spell and it would have been great to have a swim!

The season has gone very quickly and it always seems a shame when we close as the pool is such a great meeting place for everyone to catch up, if not for a swim, then a chat with friends in lovely surrounds.  If you just sit and take in the atmosphere it really is a relaxing spot.  The public also have made many comments about how great it is to come to Newstead.

On that note we thank everyone again for their time and commitment and patronage for the season and look forward to next year.  Watch this space for winter updates on what's happening.
