Newstead Pool committee is extremely pleased to announce that we have secured the contract from Mount Alexander Shire to operate the pool for the next three years.

Newstead Pool has run as an incorporated not-for-profit organisation for the past three years.  As the contract expired, there was no provision for an extension.  The committee has had to repeat the process of re-applying for the contract.  While most community members re aware that the pool is operated by  committee of management and up to forty-five volunteers annually, the process of keeping the pool as  community based pool run by the community for the community, is something we cannot become blase about.

Newstead Pool is open every day during the Summer school holidays between 2 - 8 pm (weather permitting).
