On a glorious autumn Sunday, 16th May, the Community Garden was officially launched. Special thanks to the many people whose generosity contributed to preparing the garden and making the event a wonderful success.

We will be putting out a biodynamic spray on Sunday June 6 at the garden, 3pm. It will be wonderful to ‘christen’ the flowform and enhance the gardens’ energies. It’s wonderful to see the garden taking on character and community as plotholders and diggers get going. We’ve also ordered another lot of plants to go in the communal areas – strawberries, artichokes, rhubarb, and some small fruit trees which are suited to permaculture gardens. Don’t forget the produce exchange on June 5 outside the Red Store.
