The Newstead Paddle Club is alive!!
The res is full again so why not form a canoe club? The club is open to any paddle powered water craft so if you have a canoe lying around....dust off the cobwebs, extricate the mouse nests and bring it down.
Every Tuesday afternoon at 615pm the club sets off from the Welshmans Reef Caravan Park entrance. Normally for an hours exercise at your own pace.

"Go Steaders" was the call on Thursday the 18th of March, which saw the start of the Newstead Junior Football season with a great turnout of boys and girls to the registration and first night of training.
The Newstead & District Swimming Pool is again up and running with almost more than 40 volunteers on board. They have all completed their training over the last 3 months.
